Karo Regency Government and UNPRI Sign Cooperation Agreement
The Regional Secretary of Karo Regency, Drs.Kamperas Terkelin Purba, M.Si signed the Cooperation Agreement between the Karo Regency Government and Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) at the Karo Regent's Office, Friday (08/09/2023).
The Cooperation Agreement is a follow-up to the Joint Agreement (MoU) between the Karo Regency Government and Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) in order to support Teaching Education, Research and Community Service, Publication and Student Internships, especially UNPRI Faculty of Law students within the Karo Regency Government. Karo Regional Secretary hopes that the signing of this MoU will improve good relations between UNPRI and the Karo Regency Government, especially in the development of human resources and the tridharma of higher education.
Meanwhile, from UNPRI, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes, along with the Vice Rectors, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Institutions and Heads of Bureaus and others were present. UNPRI Rector Prof. Chrismis explained that the purpose of this MoU is to establish cooperation in the fields of education, research and community service. The role of higher education must synergize with government and private institutions and contribute to improving human resources. "We are ready to assist the Karo Regency Government in order to realize development in the regency through the tridharma of higher education, namely education, research and community service," he said.
The Karo Regency Secretary expressed his gratitude to UNPRI for agreeing to sign an MoU with the Karo Regency Government. "This cooperation is very useful in realizing development in its region. We hope that this cooperation will provide benefits for both parties," he concluded.
